Anton Stadler Bicentenary Events

2012 is the Bicentenary of the death of Anton Stadler.

To celebrate this, Dr. Marc Naylor and the Stadler Ensemble will be giving a number of performances throughout the year including new works for the basset clarinet and works written for Anton Stadler by Mozart and other composers.

In addition, it is the second year of the Anton Stadler Composition Competition, where the composers of new works for basset clarinet are showcased and the winners of each section have their works premiered.

The events planned for this year will appear in the diary which follows. This diary will be updated as new events are confirmed.
